The SFTWA is a participant in the California Public Utilities Commission's rulemaking proceeding on "Transportation Network Companies" ("TNCs"). Participants were asked to comment on whether "ride-pooling" by TNCs should be allowed, even though Assembly Bill 1360, which would have made it legal, was not approved by the legislature this year.
